CMSI inaugurates short-term course

VISAKHAPATNAM: Condition Monitoring Society of India (CMSI) inaugurated a short-term course on “Condition Based Maintenance” (CBM-07) on Monday at Hotel Dolphin by world-renowned expert on Condition Monitoring B.V.A. Rao.

Faculty from NSTL, IITs and other academic/ Industrial organisations delivered the lectures. Dr. Rao stressed the importance of Condition Monitoring in the present day industry for improved productivity and reduced downtime.

President of CMSI and Director of NSTL V. Bhujanga Rao who welcomed, explained that the course could go a long way in equipping condition, monitoring professionals with the tools to safe guard machine health. AU Rector B. Satyanarayana said that a new PG Diploma course in Condition Monitoring could be offered in the University in collaboration with CMSI.

General Secretary of CMSI M. Ananda Rao and Course Convenor K.V.V. S. S. Murthy also spoke.
