BJP submits memo to DRM

Visakhapatnam: A BJP team led by city president M. Nagendra met the Divisional Railway Manager D. Kamilla on Wednesday and submitted a memorandum to him seeking the extension of the Tirupathi Summer Special by two more months. Stating that they have information that the train would be withdrawn after May 14, they sought its continuation in view of the tremendous patronage from passengers. They also sought the operation of Bhubaneswar-Rameswaram via Visakhapatnam instead of diverting it via Duvvada.

BJP leaders J. Prithviraj, T. Subbarami Reddy, PVN Madhav and M. Ramakrishna Raju were among those who met the DRM.
