VISAKHAPATNAM: The BJP city unit on Wednesday burnt an effigy of Congress leader and Vijayawada MP Lagadapati Rajagopal near the RTC complex protesting his remarks against BJP State unit president G. Kishen Reddy.
City unit president M. Nagendra blamed the Congress and MIM parties for the communal riots in Hyderabad. BJP State secretary Bandaru Rangamohana Rao,former Mayor D.V. Subba Rao, BJYM leader P.V.N. Madhav, party leaders Kolli Ratna Kumari, Madeti Kanaka Rao, T.Subbarami Reddy, J.Pridhviraj, K. Rajakumari, Valluri Mohana Rao and others participated.
