Finds fault with TJAC convenor

KARIMNAGAR: BJP senior leader Ch. Vidyasagar Rao has alleged that the State government was trying to suppress the Telangana movement by imposing several restrictions on the agitators in the region.

Talking to newsmen here on Monday, he charged that the government was indirectly imposing ‘emergency rule’ in the region though the police. He said that the people of the region have no right to launch protests in a democratic manner. He also found fault with TJAC convenor Kodandaram for not meeting BJP leader Sushma Swaraj when she visited the State.

He also condemed TDP leader Yerram Naidu statements against Sushma Swaraj, and TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu for being non-committal on separate Telangana.
