Scholarships distributed

Congress corporator of the 18th municipal division S. P. Gritton distributed scholarship among children of municipal corporation sanitation workers. Mr. Gritton disbursed scholarship amounts to 90 students at a function held at the Boyapati Sivarama Krishna Municipal High School.

He urged the students to utilise the scholarship granted to them by Central Government.


Konda Rajeswara Rao, Durga Urban Cooperative Bank supervising committee member and advocate, has been appointed convenor of the Bezawada Bar Association media committee.

Newly elected bar associate president M. S. Krishna appointed Mr Rao.

Training classes

The Krishna Youth Welfare Department, in association with APITCO, Hyderabad, is conducting training in various vocational courses next month. Unemployed youths in 18-35 age group are eligible for the courses of the duration of two to three months. Those interested should apply within 10 days.
