ADILABAD: Adilabad Collector Ahmad Nadeem on Wednesday exhorted bankers to infuse ‘synergy' into their efforts to make banking beneficial for the needy.

He also urged them to communicate to the respective branch managers the credit targets for the year for achieving proper results.

Sufficient finance

Releasing the Annual Credit Plan (ACP) for 2010-2011, the Collector said that bankers needed to strictly adhere to the given scale of finance in all Government schemes. He said that many farmers had complained of bankers refusing to finance them sufficiently to take up agricultural operations.

E.K. Hari Kumar, General Manager, State Bank of Hyderabad (SBH) asked bankers to concentrate on the implementation of the Total Financial Inclusion programme.
