It is a dream-come-true for some special children as they get to meet their cricketing heroes

VISAKHAPATNAM: Students of Helen Keller School for the Blind and Lebenshilfe, a special school for the mentally handicapped, were provided a great opportunity by the Gangavaram Port Ltd. (GPL) to meet Indian cricketers Yuvraj Singh and Harbhajan Singh and Indian Cricket Team selector L. Venkatapathi Raju and chairman of the Junior Indian Cricket Team Chamundeswarnath at Hotel Taj Residency on Thursday.

Yuvraj Singh presented a cricket kit to the captain of the Helen Keller School cricket team and Harbhajan Singh presented another cricket kit to S. Srinivas and his team for their outstanding achievement in the World Cup for the physically challenged. Srinivas had the honour of wearing a BCCI blazer as worn by members of Team India.

Venkatapathi Raju presented an audio system and Chamundeswarnath presented T-shirts to Hemanth Kumar, founder director of Helen Keller School for use in imparting audio lessons and music.

Chairman and managing director of GPL D.V.S. Raju felicitated the cricketers with mementos for spreading cheer and happiness among children of the two schools with their presence.
