Two picnickers trying to photograph slipped and fell from the top of Kuntala waterfall and drowned. This was the season’s first incident in the picturesque holiday spot in Adilabad district on Sunday.

According to the police, the two — 23-year-old motorcycle mechanic Md. Ansar and 22-year-old degree student Md. Fayaz — were a part of a group of five holidayers who had come from Argul village in Jakranpalli mandal of Nizamabad district. Ansari and Fayaz slipped from top of the waterfall while taking pictures. There are not enough security personnel posted at the holiday spot.
