12 members of robber gang nabbed

Six of them struck terror at LB Nagar in Hyderabad on June 11

HYDERABAD: Twelve members of the Pardhi gang, allegedly responsible for countless property offences in different States and the recent triple murder for gain on the city outskirts, were nabbed by the Cyberabad police on Tuesday. The gang struck terror at L.B. Nagar after midnight of June 11 by bludgeoning a couple -- M.K. Visweswara Rao and his wife Vijayalakshmi -- to death and seriously injuring its two daughters, the Cyberabad Police Commissioner, M. Mahender Reddy, told a press meet here. While the younger girl, Vagdevi, 2, died, her sister, Vaishnavai, is recuperating.

Fingerprints collected from Rao's house matched with those of Sreenu Bhonsle, Nishel, Marastra Rambav Chawan, Raju Sindhe, Arjun, and Raju Haribavan Chawan.
