Musharraf reviews defence preparedness

ISLAMABAD, JAN. 31. The Pakistan President, Pervez Musharraf, has expressed ``complete satisfaction'' over the steps taken by various formations of the military to counter any ``misadventure by the enemy''.

Presiding over a two-day Corps Commanders meeting at the military headquarters at Rawalpindi, Gen. Musharraf reviewed the geo-strategic situation in the region and the latest situation in the wake of the massive Indian build up along the borders. All Corps Commanders and Principal Staff Officers took part on the deliberations.

Gen. Musharraf briefed them about the visit of foreign dignitaries since they last met. He told the military top brass that the dignitaries were positive in their perception of Pakistan's standing in the international community and expressed their ``unstinted support'' to Pakistan.
