Missing lecturer murdered

Meerut: The mystery shrouding the missing local lecturer, Kavita Rani, was unravelled on Monday after the main suspect admitted at a press conference that he murdered her after a quarrel over sharing money.

The 29-year-old lecturer was reported missing two months ago.

At a press conference held by Senior Superintendent of Police Navneet Sikhera, Ravindra Pradhan said he had murdered the lecturer of the Chaudhry Charan Singh University along with an associate, Yogesh, because she allegedly pestered him with demands for a higher share of the Rs. 35 lakh taken from a former Minister.
