MiG crashes, pilot safe

NEW DELHI DEC. 4. An Indian Air Force MiG-29 aircraft crashed today about 25 km from the Adampur airbase, Punjab, while on a routine flying mission. The pilot, P.J. Mohammad, ejected safely.

There has been no casualty or damage to civil property, official sources said.This was the 15th military aviation crash this year, of which three were helicopters, two were trainers and 10 were fighter jets.The last crash took place on November 28 when a MiG-21 crashed in Gujarat with the pilot managing to eject safely.
