Anand is Indian Law Institute vice-president

New Delhi Dec. 24. R.K. Anand, Member of Parliament, has been elected vice-president of the Indian Law Institute (ILI) for the fourth consecutive term.

The ILI comprises a president, viz, the Chief Justice of India, and three vice-presidents, including the Union Law Minister and the Attorney General and the third one is elected.

The ILI, set up in 1956, is an international centre for socio-legal research and has done significant work in legal research, education and training.
