Haryana to recruit 7,000 policemen

Rohtak: Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Saturday announced that the State Government would shortly recruit 7000 police personnel in the state Police Force.

“We are shortly to recruit 7,000 police personnel” Mr. Hooda told reporters here.

In reply to a question on the employees’ grievances regarding new pay scales, the Chief Minister said the State Government had constituted a Committee for removing the anomalies and to redress their grievances.

The Annual Plan of the State this year would be of about Rs.10000 crore as compared to the Annual Plan of not more than Rs.1800 crore during the regime of previous government, he said.

With this much allocation of Planned Budget, the State Government had ensured that Haryana would definitely scale new heights of developments, he said.

On a question of opposition’s demand of an open debate on various issues, he replied that the Budget session of the State Assembly would start on February 2 and the Assembly members having doubt could raise any question during the session which would be replied suitably.

“The Mantra of success of the present Government and the development of the state was due to the constructive thinking of the State Government besides not initiating action against anyone in vengeance” he said. — PTI
