Four transporting dead buffalo beaten up in U.P.

Four persons transporting a dead buffalo, were assaulted by a mob in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras district early on Wednesday, the police said. They were, however, rescued by the police who intervened in time, an officer said. The owner of the buffalo alleged that the animal was poisoned by the alleged cattle smugglers.PTI
