When one led to the other

NEW DELHI, JULY 20. One thing leads to another. That is how most investigators generally crack cases. The Income Tax officials raiding cricketer Ajay Jadeja's residence this morning stumbled upon evidence that one house in a ``village'' in South Delhi could also be searched profitably.

In a jiffy the officials were at the newly indicated house in Khirki village. The raiding party soon discovered to its surprise that it had landed at a property belonging to a powerful political leader of the ruling establishment. This inadvertence is being talked about by the senior officials, but there is no official confirmation of the raid at the woman's house. The denial of the rumour may await till a particular senior Minister returns from abroad.
