Now you can make group calls, both audio as well as video, on WhatsApp. The Facebook-owned messaging platform, which boasts nearly 1.5 billion users worldwide, has enabled this feature for its app, both on iOS and Android. “You can make a group call with up to four people total, anytime and anywhere. Just start a one-on-one voice or video call and tap the new ‘add participant’ button in the top right corner to add more contacts to the call,” WhatsApp said on its blog. It said that these group calls are end-to-end encrypted and customised to work reliably in different network conditions around the world. About 2 billion minutes are totally spent on calls by users every day.
