Two killed in accidents

BANGALORE SEPT. 21. Two persons died in as many accidents on Sunday.

Antaraj (25), a painter of Old Bagalur Layout, died on the spot when a BMTC bus hit him on Tannery Road in D.J. Halli Police Station limits. The victim was crossing the road when the bus hit him, police said. D.J. Halli Police have registered a case. Rangappa (60), resident of Shinivagilu village, died in a hospital after the two-wheeler he was riding was hit by a tempo in at the Ring Road- Shinivagilu Road Junction, police said.

Jewellery stolen

A house servant allegedly took away jewellery worth Rs. 60,000 from the house in Krishnarajapura Police Station limits on Sunday. According to a complaint by house owner Srinivas, a resident of Chikka Basavanapura Road, he and his family members had gone to a temple in the morning.
