Train services to be disrupted this month

COIMBATORE: The Southern Railway, Palakkad Division, has announced that there will be partial regulation and cancellation of some of its train services between Shoranur and Kozhikode between July 14 and 20, in view of the line doubling work to be undertaken at Tirunavaya - Tirur and Tanur in the Shoranur and Kozhikode sections.

Non-interlocked operation of trains (operation at slow speed with hand signals instead of automatic signals) had been introduced between Shoranur and Kozhikode.

Train number 387/388 - Coimbatore - Mangalore - Coimbatore Passenger will be partially cancelled between Shoranur and Kozhikode.

Train number 6867/6868 - Mangalore - Tiruchirapalli - Mangalore Expresses will be partially cancelled between Palghat and Kozhikode.

Train number 610/611 - Kannur - Coimbatore - Kannur Passenger will be partially cancelled between Kozhikode and Coimbatore.

Train number 615 - Thrissur- Kozhikode Passenger will be partially cancelled between Shoranur and Kozhikode.

Train number 6305/6306 - Ernakulam - Kozhikode Express will be partially cancelled between Shoranur and Kannur.

Full cancellation

Train number 613/612 - Shoranur - Kozhikode Passenger will be fully cancelled. Train number 616 - Kozhikode-Shoranur Passenger will be fully cancelled.

Train number 6345 - Lokmanya Tilak - Trivandrum Netravati Express will be regulated for 120 minutes en-route Kozhikode and Tanur during the above period.
