Special train to Chennai on Sunday evening

MANGALORE: Union Minister of State for Railways R. Velu has directed the Southern Railway authorities in Chennai to operate a special train between Mangalore and Chennai Central in view of the rush of passengers.

A press release from Southern Railways stated that the Mangalore-Chennai Central special train (0602) will leave Mangalore at 4 p.m. on Sunday (October 2) and reach Chennai Central at 8 a.m. on Monday (October 3).

The train will stop at Kasargod, Kanhangad, Payyanur, Cannanore, Tellicherry, Badagara, Calicut, Tirur, Kuttipuram, Shoranur, Palghat, Podanur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.
