Health camp

BANGALORE, JULY 24. The Bangalore Oniyavara Seva Coota (BOSCO), a voluntary organisation, organised a free health check-up camp for street children on its premises at Gandhinagar here on Saturday. As many as 104 children were examined at the camp.

Most of these children live at the City Railway Station, Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation bus station, Shivanagar, and Gandhinagar areas.

Dinesh Gundu Rao, MLA, inaugurated the camp. Seven doctors from St. Martha's Hospital and a doctor from Baruka Charitable Trust examined the children. It was found that 22 of the 104 children suffered from serious eye problems and six of them could see only with one eye.
