`Crossroads 2004' from today

MANGALORE, FEB. 26. The Department of Business Administration, Mangalore University, is organising a two-day South India-level business school meet, "Crossroads 2004", at the Mangalagangothri campus from Friday.

In a press release, P. Pakkeerappa, Chairman of the department, termed the event "a confluence of talent to ignite young minds and develop managerial temper and understanding." The main objective of the event was to identify and promote reasoning, organising skills, and inherent talent among management students, he said.

Managerial competitions including "Savyasachi" (best manager), "Chakravyuha" (marketing), "Vitha" (finance), "Maanav Nikshep" (human resources), "Chanakya" (business quiz), "Chaduranga" (business plan), and "Shodh" (treasure hunt) would be held, Mr. Pakkerappa said and added that more details could be had by emailing crossroads2004- @indiatimes.com
