Computer professional's house burgled

BANGALORE DEC. 24. The house of a computer professional was burgled in the early hours of Wednesday in Someshwaranagar in Ulsoor Police Station limits. According to police, Mohan Kumar, working in a private computer firm, and his family were asleep on the third floor of his house when burglars into the house through a window on the first floor.

They took away cash and gold jewellery worth Rs. 40,000.

Two arrested: Kudugodi Police in Bangalore Rural district on Tuesday arrested two persons in connection with the murder of Nagaraj on December 20.

Police said Nagaraj was strangled to death allegedly by his father, Krishnappa (55), and elder brother, Ramesh (30), in a tussle related to a family dispute.

Bayappanahalli police on Sunday arrested two persons allegedly selling fake beedi packets. .The accused, Amir Pasha (41) from Vijanapur was preparing beedi packets and affixed labels of "Khaja" and "Ganesh" beedi companies.
