This is a simple game from Rajasthan and very enjoyable especially for children. It is a fun way to spend time on the beach.

You need:

Originally, the game is played with chirmi or gundumani - red beads with a black spot. However you can play with tamarind seeds, beads or anything else.

How do you play:

Each player gets a handful of seeds (equal numbers) and these are buried in a heap of sand.

The heap is then divided into a number of parts based on the number of players. The players then find the number of seeds buried in the sand allotted to them.

Now the player with the least number of seeds puts his in the heap while all the others contribute an equal number. The game continues till all the seeds are exhausted.
