Body of Pak soldier handed over to Pak army

JAMMU, JULY 12.The Indian Army today handed over the body of sepoy Karamat Hussain Shah of the Pakistan Army, at the border outpost Suchetgarh, 40 Km from here.

Hussain was one of the three Pak soldiers who were gunned down by the Indian Army in exchange of fire at Sunderbani on Tuesday, the bodies were recieved by the Lt. Col. Saleem, Major Bukhari and Captain Waseem from Pakistan.

An intruding Pakistani patrol, in the Sunderbani sector along the Line of Control (LoC) was intercepted by Indian troops on Tuesday. In the ensuing clash, three Pakistani soldiers were shot dead. The Indian troops had recovered the body of one intruder, while the bodies of the other two intruders were dragged away by retreating Pakistani soldiers. Documents revealed the identity of one of the deceased as sepoy Karamat Hussain of Pakistani Army.
