LUCKNOW, NOV. 15. The Special judge (CBI), Mr. S.K. Shukla, hearing Babri Masjid demolition cases, today fixed December 15 for further proceedings.
The action of the court is in pursuance with the directions of the Lucknow bench of the Allahabad High Court, which passed orders that no proceedings be held in the special court until the bench pronounced its judgement on four revision petitions filed by 33 of the 49 accused.
The bench had reserved its ruling on the four criminal revisions filed by the accused, including the Union Minister, Ms. Uma Bharti, Ms. VijayRaje Scindia and Mr. Moreshwar Save, against the order issued by the then special judge, Mr. J.P. Srivastava, on September 9, 1997,summoning them for framing of charges.
