Power shutdown in some areas today

The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company will resort to a power shutdown in the following areas on Tuesday between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. to carry out maintenance works: Manjunathnagar, Modi Hospital Road and surrounding areas, Kirloskar 1st Stage, Shankarmath, LIC Colony, Post Office area, Water Tank Road, Sathyanarayana Layout and surrounding areas.

Training in candle making

the visually impaired

The National Association for the Blind, Karnataka Branch, will conduct a training programme for the visually impaired in the English language, communication skills and personality development to prepare them to take up jobs in call centres.
