At the airport, the maximum temperature was 33.8 degrees Celsius while the minimum temperature was 21.4 degrees Celsius. The relative humidity was 23 per cent.

The forecast for Friday is: the sky will be mainly clear and the maximum temperature will be around 35 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature 22 degrees Celsius.

Training

Bangalore University is offering a one-year ``Library Apprentice Trainees", programme. Interested candidates with a B.Lib, M.Lib or diploma holders in library sciences with second class may apply for the programme. During the training, students will be paid a stipend of Rs. 3,500 per month. Interested individuals can send their applications to the Registrar of Bangalore University before March 30.
