dated December 5, 1953: Indian Concern Over Military Aid to Pak.

India's anxiety over proposed military aid by the United States to Pakistan had already been conveyed to President Eisenhower and the Secretary of the State, Mr. John Foster Dulles, said Mr. Richard M. Nixon, Vice-President of the United States, talking to Pressmen before taking off for Kabul from Palam Airport in New Delhi on the 4th. Declining to be drawn into a discussion of his personal view, Mr. Nixon emphasised though, that the United States would never use its military power or its military aid programme for unprovoked aggression against any other country in the world.
