Armani's designs on football

LONDON: Italian fashion maestro Giorgio Armani is reported to have designed the England football team's suits and casual co-ordinates. The 27-year-old skipper, David Beckham, who now has taken the squad's fashion welfare under his wings, intends to make things look a whole lot different and smarter in the changing rooms. Armani is the first non-British designer to clothe the England team. He will design two outfits for each of the 26 players at a cost of 3,500 each. The players will each receive a dark suit accessorised with a tie, shirt, shoes, belt and sunglasses as well as a smart casual outfit, which includes a cashmere cardigan called "the Beckham". — ANI
