Will loyalty pay?

After four long years spent in shadows, he is keen on reviving his political career.

The former MLA from Malakpet, Malreddy Ranga Reddy, quit Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and made his way to the Gandhi Bhavan to join the Congress Party.

As expected on such occasions, he spared no effort to make a grand show of his `exit and entry' and led a colourful rally in the city. Though the Congress warmly received Malreddy, there seem to be a section, which is not greatly thrilled at his joining them.

The anguish was targeted at new entrants from other parties walking away with nominations, while those in the party for a long time not getting recognised for their loyalties.

Will Malreddy be asked to contest the coming polls on behalf of the Congress? Wait and watch.
