Project on education

AN INTERACTIVE survey on education turned out to be an interesting experience for students of Hindusthan Educational Institutions. Equipped with electronic equipment to record the answers verbatim, the students asked several members of the public: "How should education be imparted in the near future?"

There were discussions on values in formal education, the role of teachers in motivating youngsters, pioneering changes in classroom teaching, upgrading the academic curriculum to suit changing trends, and introducing frontline methodology in the process of teaching and learning.

During the project, the students found that practical knowledge could greatly help to develop their communication skills. They became more confident about going beyond the limitations of the classroom, and learning from the world outside.
