Much ado about nothing

These days, no foodstuff is entirely free from toxic chemicals. With the change in lifestyle and the replacement of traditional utensils, traces of harmful elements like aluminium, cadmium, etc within the tolerable limited are bound to be present in our food. What about the pesticide residues in vegetables, fruits and potable water?

The human body is marginally equipped to tolerate minor traces of toxic chemicals and the excretory organs can adjust their functioning to eliminate or mitigate its adverse effects.

The Government should take steps to allay the anxieties of the public.
