BALLOON BLAST: It was fun & froic for kids and elders alike.

BELLS CHIMED. Beautifully illuminated churches were all packed. Carols were sung. Cakes kept vanishing from bakeries. And the festivities were ushered in. It's Christmas and it's celebration time. Time for event managers to work overtime and ensure fun and enjoyment. The neatly manicured Darbar Hall lawns at Taj Krishna buzzed with activity right from morning. Santa Claus was there and kids squealed in joy and flocked him.

Lined up along corners of the lawns was a horde of competitions. Want to go on a ride? No swank automobiles, though. Camel and horse rides had kids lining up for them. And what better way to round up the carnival than with a sumptuous buffet.

In Santa's company.

In Santa's company.

Fun and frolic. Games and food. And lots and lots of masti. That's what Hotel Golkonda had for kids at its Xmas carnival. The young lot strained their brains for a quiz, then went for games like `Tail the donkey,' took an aim for shooting, dart, nine pins and what not.

Even the Christmas eve came with its own share of enjoyment. Taj Banjara had a party with an all-Santa theme at Underdeck while the Waterside Cafe had a solo performance by Jeru.

A traditional turkey dinner complete with turkey cranberry sauce spread turned out had revellers joining in good numbers.
