LIFE

For the children

IF YOU are a kid, you are lucky. In keeping with the spirit of Children's Day, Wockhardt Hospital will host a Children's Film Festival and painting competition on November 16 at the J.N. Tata auditorium, Indian Institute of Science premises.

There is lots in store for the little ones, starting with flying carpets, magic lamps, and genies in a screening of the cartoon film Aladdin at 10 a.m. and a repeat at 3 p.m.

This will be followed by the hilarious Dunston Checks In at noon and again at 6 p.m. for latecomers. Apart from this, there will be a painting competition for budding artists between the ages of 4 and 12 years. The theme of the contest is "A Moment of Joy with my Elder", in keeping with Wockhardt Hospital's Suraksha Bandhan programme to promote bonding among young people and the elderly.

Free passes for the festival are available at Wockhardt Hospital on Cunnigham Road.
