Bawaria in Banglore

LOTS OF things have been happening this festive season, and there have been more sounds heard in town than those of firecrackers. Among other happenings, Bavaria came to Bangalore in the form of Oktoberfest.

For the German Food Festival held alongside at Taj Residency, no less than four German chefs were flown in to create authentic German dishes.

Roman and Rolf Sigel, Everhard Nurk, and Rolf Wien, the German chefs, cooked up marvellous items like Lamb Goulash, Pan Fried Fish Fillet, Wiener Schintzel, and Spinach and Onion Pine. United Breweries launched their special limited edition of Oktoberfest beer, which flowed.
