A birthday present

K.S. Chithra has decided to be `selective' about songs for films in future. The singer, who usually keeps herself busy with recordings during her visits to the capital city, now makes it a point to keep herself free these days.

The singer is learnt to be spending more time with her baby as well as setting tunes for some new lullabies. The only recording done by her was the `Guruvandanam' song to honour her guru, K. Omanakutty. The song was presented during the birthday celebrations of her guru.

Chithra, however, would be making her presence felt in the field through the usual devotional albums on Ayyappa during the Sabarimala season.
