The World Health Organisation’s member states agreed on Tuesday to give half of their contributions as straightforward membership fees, instead of channelling most of their cash into health projects of their own choosing.
Meanwhile, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus was re-elected for a second term as the agency’s chief.
