The Investiture Ceremony of Podar International School (Cambridge International) for the academic session 2018-2019 was held July 7. The new council members were assigned their responsibilities and took the oath. The Principal Mr. Sanjay Nandi along with the Chief Guest Dr.Vidyulla, and N. Kolhe (Principal of Gurukrupa College of Education and Research) graced the ceremony which commenced with the lighting of the lamp and a welcome dance by Podarites. A rolling rising star trophy was awarded to Mst Jeet Vora from Grade 5 from primary section and Miss Khushi Gurnani from Grade 10 secondary section for their achievements. Mrs Reshma Pithale got the best supporting staff award for the year 2017-18.Next, a stunning Yoga dance was performed by the students followed by a song sung by Podar Idols from Grade 4. Newly appointed council members were welcomed with a well synchronised march past and adorned with sashes and badges by the chief guest, Dr.Vidyulla, N. Kolhe and the Principal.
