Who's the first to figure out that something's wrong with Nature? Definitely not the humans. According to the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN), Conservation International and other groups, it is frogs and other amphibians, with their sensitive and porous skin, that give us the first warning signals. Action plans and research includes describing 1,000 new species, protecting habitat and reducing trade in amphibians, According to Andrew Dobson, a Princeton University professor, "The frogs are trying to tell us something. We're making the world a sicker place and, mercifully, the frogs have picked up on it before us humans."
