Hundred-year-old Fauja Singh from London became the oldest person to ever finish a marathon after completing the 26.2-mile race in Canada. He finished the Toronto Waterfront Marathon in 3,849th place clocking a time of eight hours, 25 minutes and 16 seconds. Fauja Singh, also known as the “Turbaned Tornado”, entered his first race at age 89 after losing his wife and child, and trains by running 10 miles daily. Singh was born in India in 1911 and migrated to Britain in the 1960's. He now sports two records in the Guinness Book of World Records.
