An evening of scintillating dance numbers and rollicking music. That was what "Naach 2005", the dance show for kids organised by Tap Tune dance school, was all about. More than 150 kids danced to popular Tamil and Hindi numbers.

The audience were first treated to an innovative sequence "Dilbara" where Tap Tune students donned the role of cartoon characters and danced along with the children.

The other dance performances for the evening included "Multimedia on stage", "Black magic — the invisibles", "Costume magic" and a concept dance dedicated to tsunami victims.

The children gained confidence as the show progressed. They wore colourful costumes designed by Renjini and Shalini of Mangal's Aspirations.

The event, which went on for more than three hours, had the audience at the jam-packed Corporation Kalaiarangam singing and dancing to the tunes merrily.

"It was a nice experience. The parents too showed a lot of interest," said Sherif of Tap Tune.
