Saraswathi Vidhyalaya Matric School, NGO `A' Colony, Tirunelveli

The students of Saraswathi Vidhyalaya Matric School, NGO `A' Colony, Tirunelveli, who are being trained by Tamil Nadu Swamy Vivekananda Yoga and Skating Club, conducted a "Festival of Feats" in their school premises recently. While Lakshmanan of Std. VIII towed a van with 15 children, totally weighing 4,175 kg, a Maruti 800 car gently rode on the palms and fingers of Lakshmanan, Senthil Thangaraj, Surya, Sankaranarayanan and Gowtham Raj. Again, a 100cc motorbike moved over the tender palms of Abhirami, Deepa Meena, Yogesh Raja, Kumarasamy, Mari Selvam, Balamurugan, Sundara Narayanan and Sri Chitra.

There was a doctor present at the venue to assist the students in case of any emergency. Principal R. Rajakumari, who is also the brain behind this festival, felicitated the students. Correspondent Ramesh presided over the function in which Dasan, District Sports Officer, Xavier, Tirunelveli district hockey coach, and Venkatesan, State secretary of Tamil Nadu, Swamy Vivekananda Yoga and Skating Club, participated.
