Tributes to the Nobel laureate and renowned scientist, Albert Einstein, could not have been paid in a better way. The Physics exhibition, organised by the Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering (JNNCE) in Shimoga, for high school students on December 3 and 4, to commemorate the International Year of Physics, was a laudable attempt to recall Einstein's contribution to Physics.

Over 2,000 students from all over the district visited the exhibition, which was arranged with the active involvement of the Physics teachers of other schools as well.

Significantly, each exhibit was supplemented by a Compact Disc (CD) show so as to help the students to understand and appreciate it better. A photo exhibition depicting the life and achievements of Einstein was also held on the occasion.

Prof. H.R. Dasharathi, lecturer in Physics at the DVS Arts and Science College, Shimoga, who inaugurated the exhibition, asked the students to draw inspiration from the amazing contribution of Einstein to the field of Physics.
