Coping with stress

Stress can do dreadful things. Look what it is doing to the fish. Unable to cope with `fishing fears', fish in the fear of getting caught are growing smaller in size. "In response to fishing pressures, fish are becoming smaller, growing more slowly, and having a harder time reproducing", says David O. Conover of the State University of New York at Stony Brook. Smaller fish can wriggle out of fishing nets faster than larger ones. Besides people tend to keep the bigger meatier fish while throwing the smaller ones back.
