Actor ANUPAM KHER is a busy man. He is getting ready to don a new mantle. Kher and his business partner have entered into a contract where they will produce four films a year. At a time when deals, mega-deals and movie contracts are the buzzwords, Kher, who is gung-ho about the benefits of the deal, said, “One each will be directed by my partner and me, while the other two will be contracted to outside directors.” Kher said he had already finalised two scripts and would begin work soon.

Meanwhile, not to be left out of the children’s films bandwagon, Kher said he was also planning to act in one of them. “This,” according to him, “is a big market ready to explode on the silver screen.” For him it’s a win-win situation. Four credits a year plus some acting; that’s called raking in the moolah
