Practical and useful

The tips given in "Follow the golden mean" (Magazine, November 20) are practical and useful. Walking is perhaps the best form of exercise. It relaxes and re-energises our minds and nerves.

Aruna Chandaraju's article was informative. I was amazed to read that regular physical activity prevents many diseases. Though most people say walking is the best exercise, Iwould say cycling has no alternative.
