A.R. Rahman

A.R. Rahman

He's almost the flavour of the season be it Delhi or London. So when A.R. Rahman, flew into town, it was inevitable that he would be questioned about the biggest break of the year — composing music for Andrew Lloyd Webber's musical "Bombay Dreams". Says shy Rahman, "My working with Webber was a dream come true." He is deeply indebted to Mani Ratnam for launching him through `Roja' and said that Ratnam left him "alone with his creative process." Rahman said he was keen on making a musical in India. "We love music so there is no reason why it won't work here," he said adding that if there was a good and viable project he would love to be part of it.
