Immortal music

The article "Flawless harmony in his music" (Magazine, November 20) correctly pointed out that Salil Chowdhury's music is not recognised as it deserves. His immortal music cut across language barriers and continues to enthral listeners.

The article made very interesting reading. As a lover of light classical music, I can only say that millions of ears pledged to Salil da's innumerable melodies in a variety of languages have not yet been redeemed.
