CHILDREN OF Child Relief and You -- CRY - are having a few things their way these days. Just the other day, they, along with students of the Delhi College of Art, had a surprise admirer of their paintings. The surprise visitor was the current heartthrob of Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor. And barely had Kareena stepped out of the city that another Bollywood actress's special presentation was screened for CRY children. This time it was Shabana Azmi's "Makdee", a Vishal Bhardwaj film that was staged at Film Division auditorium in a special show. The children, dressed in their best, enjoyed every moment of this witch-hunt with many clapping at several places. Giving them company were principals and vice-principals of schools across Delhi.

The occasion earlier was the opening up of Pizza Hut's 38th restaurant - a 150-seater - at Centre Point in Gurgaon. The world's largest pizza chain organised the `Life mein thoda sa palat' contest.

The organisers knew that once the ravishing and charismatic Kareena Kapoor enters the fast food outlet she will be a big attraction and students won't be able to concentrate on their paintings. So the actress arrived a little late and saw each and every painting with utmost interest. She chose the winners - Sanjay from CRY walked away with the prize in the first category while in the second category the winner was Kiran Singh Chauhan from the Delhi College of Art.

Those who couldn't get the prize from Kareena weren't so disappointed as they got to eat scrumptious pizzas, sitting next to her.
